Communication

Home/School Communication

The parent/teacher partnership is an integral part of your child's education and open communication is very important. There are a number of ways of promoting this aspect of school life.

  • Homework Diary: Please check regularly for any notes from the teacher. You may also use the diary to send notes to the teacher.
  • Newsletter: A monthly newsletter is sent home during each month. The newsletter is also published on this website each month. This informs you of happenings in the school and of forthcoming events.
  • Letters from Staff/Principal: Sent as needed. Please check your child's bag on a regular basis.
  • Parent/Teacher Meeting: Formal parent teacher meetings are held annually to discuss your child's progress. You will be notified in writing by the class teacher. If your child is unhappy in school or encountering problems please come to the school to discuss it with the class teacher. These meetings should be arranged by appointment only as the teacher's primary duty during school hours is to her pupils. Parents meetings are also held for Communion and Confirmation.
  • School Report: Issued annually.
