St Brigid's Cross Making
The whole school gathered along with the Grandparents of 6th class to for our annual St. Brigid's cross-making.

We had great fun on the lead up to the Christmas Holidays.

The Student Council hosted their annual Christmas Student Draw with Gerard and Sarah Jane winning fabulous sweet hampers
The junior room got beautiful Christmas stories read to them by 3rd & 4th class students
Past pupils of St. Brigid's NS that were representing Carndonagh Gaa came in to show their appreciation to all the students for their support ahead of their 3 big finals. There was an army of Red & Green in the school on Friday. The girls in the student council sold beautiful bracelets to raise funds.
Congratulations to Ollie(2nd class) and Evie Mc Connellogue(Senior Infants), who have been shortlisted for the 2022 ‘Have You Got Maths Eyes?’ national competition under 11 category.
This was their entry to the Maths eyes competition.

Ms Murphy's class were busy learning about road safety and received Seatbelt Sherriff certificates for their great effort
We really enjoyed and learnt lots from our local members of An Garda Síochána. They paid us a visit recently to talk to us about road safety. Matthew and Darragh especially enjoyed arresting Ms. Houston for giving them too much homework! Looking at the pictures we think we have a few upcoming Gardaí in the making here.
